Discover Whistler’s wild alpine backcountry on this snowmobile ride — great for adventurers and nature-enthusiasts with intermediate or confident beginning snowmobile skills. 6.Crystal Hut Fondue by Snowcat - $147.52/person
This unique dining experience begins at the Canadian Wilderness Adventures Desk in the lower level of the Carleton Lodge, a hotel in Whistler Village. Climb into a heated, luxury, 19-passenger snowcat en route to the enchanting Crystal Hut, a cozy, quaint log cabin located an hour away on Crystal Ridge, high atop Blackcomb Mountain at 6,000 feet.
Enjoy the chef's local interpretation of a traditional fondue dinner. On the menu is cheese fondue (Gruyere, Emmental, and white wine served with a baguette and pickles), fondue chinoise (chicken, beef tenderloin, and assorted vegetables with vegetable broth, served with a variety of dipping sauces), and a fresh-baked fruit pie with real whipped cream.
Along the way to the cabin and during the dining experience itself, take in the alpine colors and panoramic views of the surrounding Coast Mountain Range, as well as the twinkling lights of Whistler Village below.

7.Medicine Trail Snowshoe Tour - $69.47
Check in at the tour desk in the Carleton Lodge 30 minutes prior to your tour departure. You will meet your professional guide who will shuttle you 20 minutes south of Whistler to the Callaghan Valley.
Once in the Callaghan Valley, strap on your snowshoes and your guide will lead you deep into the old-growth forest. Gaze upon giant cedar, fir and hemlock tress that provide a canopy high above. Your guide will share local knowledge as you pass by Salish Totem poles before stopping at an authentic Trapper's Cabin next to Totem Pole Lake. At this Trapper's Cabin, you will sample healing teas from plants that grow along The Medicine Trail before venturing back to reality.
This tour is 2.5-hours round-trip (includes shuttle time to and from the Callaghan Valley), and is designed for a healthy level of fitness.
8.Mountain Explorer ATV Tour - $69.47
Discover Whistler’s wild alpine region on this fun and scenic ATV ride — designed for beginners and families, and great for adventurers and nature-enthusiasts. Your trip begins with pickup from Carleton Lodge at your selected start time (please refer to ‘Important Info’ tab for schedule options). Climb aboard the coach and head to the ATV shop, where you'll meet your guide, watch a quick safety lesson and get geared up before setting off onto Blackcomb Mountain.
Breath in crisp mountain air as you course along wide trails and zoom through patches of thick alpine forest. Over the course of two hours, you’ll catch amazing panoramic views and explore the new terrain park (optional) — and make plenty of stops for snapping photos!
After your ride, drop off your ATV and hop in the coach for return service to Carleton Lodge.

"Worth all the money to bike down the hill, keep to the beginner trails at first if just starting out. So many great people on the trails to help you out when and if you fall but remember to wear all that gear. Will be buying a season pass next year to spend more time on the mountain again. I wish there was a bike park in the mainland. Whistler still the best ever"
